“Training our Future Leaders”……The Beaufort County Youth Conference Ambassadors were involved in two very exciting activities. The first activity was a Confidence-Building training. Facilitators for the session were: Wade Bishop, Prevention Director of the Beaufort County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Department and BCYC Steering Committee Members- Scott Gibbs, Carrie Major, Sharon Millen, Belle White Runnels, Myra Parker, and Bonnie Moore. Mrs. Major presented Shakierria Gardner with a gift in recognition of her upcoming graduation from Beaufort High School.

They were able to share information about the upcoming Virtual (Zoom) Beaufort County Youth Conference, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021 @10:am-1:00pm. One of the Conference's Youth Planner, Austin Major, Jr. gave an awesome, inspirational interview. At times it brought us to tears of joy. Congratulations to you Austin!!!

29th Annual BCYC Planning Session



All Middle & High School Youth are invited to our 29th Annual BCYC Planning Session, held Virtually on April 17, 10am - 12noon. All Youth who register will be sent a ZOOM link. Our facilitator, Janie W. Brown, will lead the youth to work together to decide the overall Conference Theme, T-shirt design, Entertainment & Door prizes. A grant will allow our youth to be rewarded for their attendance & participation in the Planning Session.
